Arksego prides itself as a company on providing the latest in security technology and theory to its clients. Security integration is a new wave of technology that is beginning to take the industry by storm. While complete and total integration is several years in the future, according to most security analysts worldwide, the technology that will open the door for full integration exists today. Although the coaxial cable has existed for over a hundred years, and sixty years ago the first coaxial cable was laid across the floor of the Atlantic Ocean, allowing constant communication on a global scale, new technologies are being developed to eventually replace the coaxial cable. Most security consultants still favor the coaxial cable because it can deliver crisp video transmissions across long distances. However, digital video transmission has made twisted pair connections more attractive in some applications. Twisted pair cabling is a type of wiring that requires two conductors of a single circuit to be twisted together to cut down on electromagnetic interference (EMI) from outside sources. This is actually old technology. It was invented by Alexander Graham Bell in 1881, but today it carries large applications for security solutions. At Arksego, we are committed to pursuing new security technologies and applications for our clients to make them practically invulnerable to attack or infiltration. The use of twisted pairs enables the wiring from several different security systems such as CCTV and alarm systems to be integrated into a single UTP cable with a hub instead of using several separate individual cables.
